Representatives from the Kentucky Department of Labor Cabinet honor Bullard in ceremony

Bullard recently received Kentucky's prestigious Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) re-certification for taking extraordinary measures to ensure the safety and health of its employees.

Demonstrating an effective company-wide safety and health program, the award, which Bullard originally received in 2006, was presented by representatives from the Kentucky Department of Labor Cabinet. John Lippert, SHARP Program Administrator and Danny Vernon, Partnership Program Manager of the Kentucky Labor Cabinet, presented the award to Bullard's CEO Richard Miller in a ceremony held at the Company's headquarters in Cynthiana. Mr. Miller accepted the award on behalf of all Bullard employees who are committed to making safety a priority.

The U.S. Department of Labor designed SHARP to encourage and recognize excellence in occupational safety and health among small employers - those with 250 or fewer workers - in "high hazard" industries.

Bullard is one of only 10 active companies, of over 2300 eligible companies, in Kentucky with SHARP status. This certification is valid for three years.
