Individual switches, which the user may install, can select a combination of outputs. These switches may be used to turn the outputs "ON" or "OFF" at any time. The "Master Control" switch starts the sequential switch when it is turned "ON". Likewise turning the "Master Control" switch "OFF" sequentially de-energizes the loads at 1/2 second intervals. In addition the Load Manager R monitors the vehicle's battery voltage. When electrical loads exceed the alternator output, the voltage drops. The Load Manager R senses this and the outputs are individually de-energized. Up to 5 outputs are controlled. Only as many are shut down as are required to maintain the system voltage. The shut down sequence is fixed by the wiring connections to the Load Manager R. An output indicator terminal is provided to permit connecting an LED indicator, which is energized whenever the load-shed circuit is functioning. A remote bypass switch may be installed to completely bypass the Load Manager R and operate the relays manually. A plug-in connector simplifies installation. The Load Manager R sheds loads in the conventional manner. A separate input is provided which will reverse the sequence of load shedding. This permits the Load Manager R to shut down loads from the rear to the front of the vehicle when the vehicle is in transit. When at a scene, the load shedding may be reversed so as to shed loads from front to rear. Programming jumpers are provided to easily program the load shedding point to 12.5, 12.0, 11.5 & 11.0 volts.
