About Glen Echo Fire Department
Glen Echo Fire Department is a volunteer-owned and -operated fire station with joint staffing between volunteers and career FF/EMT's from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service. The station is home to four front line response units: an engine, an ambulance, a paramedic chase unit, and a UTV for off-road rescues. Volunteer and career FF/EMT's often staff units and train together.
