This is a triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating, plunger pump, constructed of SFSS Heat Treated stainless steel block-style manifolds, 304 SS inlet valve springs, SFSS discharge valve assemblies with ceramic balls, ceramic plungers, acetal seals, UHMV V-Packings and NBR O-rings. The pump features a low unswept volume (minimal un-evacuated liquid remains in the pumping chamber) resulting in maximum volumetric efficiency. This pump is designed for hydro blasting, hydrostatic testing, and injection. The "K" in the model number indicates the special flushed Inlet manifold that permits an external flush liquid providing added cooling for hi-temp liquids and added lubrication for low-lubricity liquids such as DI water. Used with the 990663 Flushing Assembly, it offers containment of effluent emissions for environmental safety.
