Asia Emergency Management Conference & Expo 2016
The Asia Emergency Management Conference (AEMC) and Expo (AEME) will take place from 10 to 12 May 2016 at the Venetian, Macao.
AEMC is Asia’s specialised Emergency Management Conference for Urban Areas. While the Asia-Pacific region’s urbanisation rate still lies below 50%, its urban population has already surpassed the combined population of the US and the EU. Today, more than half of the world’s largest cities can be found in the Asia-Pacific region and there is no end in sight for the increasing urbanisation. AEMC is addressing this trend by focusing on emergencies occurring typically in urban areas – both natural and human-made disasters. It is strongly supported by international organisations and top speakers from all over the world.
AEME is the Asia-Pacific Hub for Emergency Management. It serves as an international trade platform for service providers, manufacturers, trading companies and non-governmental organisations providing a broad range of products and services (e.g. protective clothing and equipment, medical and first aid services, telecommunications).
Both events will attract a high diversity of professions from the decision maker to the practitioner in risk and emergency management, business continuity and disaster recovery.
