C-TEC has launched an innovative new vibrating pillow pad alarm. Designed to warn the hearing impaired of a potential fire alarm or evacuation alert condition, the BF320 vibrates and pulses on and off when triggered as per the requirements of BS 5446-3. Features of Pillow Pad Alarm Featuring a wide 10-30V DC voltage range, the stylishly compact device is ideal for residential, leisure, and commercial projects and can be used in conjunction with the BF320JP, a new connection plate that allows it to be connected to the sounder circuit of a compatible conventional fire alarm system and also to C-TEC’s new evacuation alert system. A life-safety systems manufacturer, C-TEC, has restructured its UK sales team to facilitate further growth and expansion. Simon Griffiths is C-TEC’s new Northern Fire Account Manager, replacing Brian Foster, recently promoted to the newly-created role of UK Sales Manager. With over 20 years’ experience in service engineer, project management and business development roles at Honeywell, Cormeton Electronics and Reflex Systems, Simon’s brief is to create new business and provide technical support to C-TEC’s specialist fire alarm accounts and specifiers in the North and Scotland. Fire safety and alarm systems expert The company has also appointed Jeff Pankhurst as its South East Fire Account Manager. Formerly a Business Development Manager at Texecom Ltd (Klaxon Signals), Jeff is a qualified fire alarm systems engineer and project manager with vast experience of managing major design, installation and commissioning projects in London including The Shard and Heron Tower. Craig Swift, formerly a Distribution Account Manager at the company, has been appointed its new South West Fire Account Manager and Andy Turner retains his position as C-TEC’s specialist Midlands and Ireland Fire Account Manager. Life-safety systems manufacturer, C-TEC, appoints Chris Bradley as its new Southern Distribution Account Manager. With over 10 years’ experience in the industry, Chris has worked for Rexel Senate, Channel Safety Systems and, most recently, Illumino Ignis as a sales manager/design engineer specializing in fire, disability and call systems. In his new role, Chris will create new accounts, provide key support to existing customers and promote C-TEC’s vast range of fire alarm systems, fire detectors, call systems, disabled refuge systems and hearing loops to electrical distributors in its Southern territory. Life-safety systems manufacturer, C-TEC, announces the promotion of Brian Foster to the newly-created role of UK Sales Manager. Reporting directly to Charlotte Manley, C-TEC’s Sales Director, Brian will head up the company’s External Sales Team. With over 30 years’ experience at C-TEC, Brian started his career on the production floor, working in Returns and Technical Support before being appointed Northern Fire Account Manager in 2009.
