Anti-Pirate Cannon by UNIFIRE of Sweden
Unifire is the leading manufacturer of non-lethal water cannons made specifically for anti-piracy
Unifire showcased its impressive system of advanced, stainless steel, high-pressure, remote-control water cannons at the last Combating Piracy conference.

As the Official Sponsor of the exclusive Combating Piracy conference held January 26-27 in Singapore, Unifire AB of Sweden dazzled an elite group of maritime industry leaders with the Unifire Anti-Pirate Water Cannon System or "APWCS."

Participants and speakers at the event included ship owners and operators, ship captains, security officers, legal experts, naval officers and other government representatives.

Unifire showcased its impressive system of advanced, stainless steel, high-pressure, remote-control water cannons. The cannons were networked together and each was controlled from an impressive remotely-located console, known as the Unifire Control System or "UCS." The UCS can also control valves, cameras, lights and other peripheral devices--all from the ship's bridge and/or other safe location.

Among the many topics covered at the conference were the military response to the piracy crisis, the growing number of attacks and related statistics, hijacking and ransom issues, self-protection and ship security best practices, legal issues, and others.

The Unifire APWCS was met with with great interest and anticipation by the conference participants. Unifire is recognized as the leading manufacturer of non-lethal water cannons made specifically for anti-piracy and related security applications to meet the growing challenges presented by the rise of pirate attacks and terrorism.
