Ten Cate operates in international markets, which largely consist of public sector-related end-users. More than half its revenues are directly or indirectly related to public sector budgets.

The market themes of Ten Cate are Safety & Protection and Infrastructure & The Environment, which in most cases means the protection of people and the environment in sustainable solutions.

Operating in international institutional markets, such as infrastructure and the environment, defence and aviation, contributes to the increasing importance of political decision-making relating to specifications, public sector budgets, innovation programmes, et cetera. There is thus a growing relationship in this area between Ten Cate and domestic and international institutions and public sector bodies.

As a result, there is an increasing need to make use of specific expertise in this field. Ten Cate is therefore delighted that this expertise will become internationally available to the company. The relevant experience and international networks and reputation of the individual members will make a positive contribution to the positioning of Ten Cate in the international market.
