Hannay Reels to exhibit at FDIC 2009
Published on 13 March 2009
Hannay Reels has announced it will exhibit at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC), April 23-25, 2009, at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The company will feature a variety of reels for the firefighting and rescue industries at booth number 2033.
Hannay Reels has set the standard of quality and reliability for hose reels in the firefighting industry. The standard F Series reel is a dependable, rugged reel designed for booster hose with the ability to handle single five-inch I.D. or one-inch I.D. hose, pressures to 1,000 psi (69 bar) and temperatures from -60 to +250 degrees Fahrenheit.
The "Super Booster" reel weighs up to 30 percent less than a standard booster reel due to its aluminum construction. Stainless steel construction is also available.
Available in manual or power rewind models, the FL & FH 1500 Series hose reel is ideal for use with ¼-inch to ½-inch breathing air hose. It is designed for firefighting and rescue operations, including backpack recharging and direct-to-personnel air. All internal components are made of stainless steel, and are degreased and cleaned to promote quality-breathing air. The F1500 Series reels are available in a variety of high-pressure ratings, thread styles, user configurations and joint types.
