Fomtec Alpha R is a ready-to-use alcohol resistant foam solution. Reliable fire performance is obtained on all kinds of fuels. On polar liquid fires, It forms a polymeric layer which protects the foam against destruction. On non-polar fuels an aqueous film is formed (AFFF-effect). Designed to have a much longer shelf life than normal AFFF premix solutions. Freeze protected foam solution, enabling foam systems to operate in areas with temperatures down to -10 °C.
