| The Ferno Model 26 is a simple, easy to use two-Level, roll-in Cot. It has only two positions - fully elevated, and ground level. In the elevated position, the cot can be shortened by elevating the backrest and folding down the hinged, head-end frame. Its legs fold up as it is rolled into the ambulance, and unfold as the cot is removed. An automatic locking system secures both the front and rear legs simultaneously as the leg sections unfold. Left-hand and right-hand control levers unlock the front and back legs respectively as the cot is prepared for loading.
